Aidan is a sophomore at the College majoring in Economics and another to-be-determined social science. He first started doing research by working on a political psychology project with Professor Joanna Schug in Social Psychology. This year is his first in the SNaPP Lab, and he is very excited to be working on the Political Discussion team. He will be helping to develop and implement a coding scheme to extract data from a set of free responses that should reveal some contextual patterns inherent in individual disengagement from political discussion. He also will conduct literature reviews to supplement Professor Settle's argument that heightened informational exchange changes individual perceptions of group identities. Aidan is interested in learning as much as he can about human behavior. Outside the lab, he is a member of the Stairwells a cappella group and the William and Mary Club Soccer team.
